PhotoBioModulation (PBM) formerly known as Cold Laser Treatment or LLLT
PBM is a light therapy using lasers or LEDs to accelerate and improve tissue repair, pain reduction and inflammation. Its roots go back to the late 1970s, when researchers first investigated its use in space exploration programs, to help alleviate the body-jarring injuries and pain inflicted on astronauts by the effects of lift off and re-entry.
It has been an effectively proven treatment now for many years on sports injuries, arthritic joints, neuropathic pain syndromes, back and neck pain, skin conditions and a range of other afflictions.
Treatments take about 10 minutes and should be administered two or more times a week for optimal results.
